My stained
glass windows are designed to last. They can
be used for cabinets, sunshine ceilings, room dividers
or French doors. Or for any outside window such as
sidelights, transoms, doors, kitchens, bathrooms etc. My
windows are weather tight. They stand alone,
functional pieces of art that will out last you or I. If
you prefer, my leaded windows can also be inserted into
sealed units. I incorporate as much strength as I
can without detracting from the beauty. The lead I
use has extra antimony in it (for strength). It can
be harder to work with but the results are worth the
effort. Straight lines are straight, curves are
smooth and exact, matching pieces match. Adjoining
lead fits tightly with no gaps between. The glass
fits all the way into the lead. When I cement a
window I use the best material available despite the
cost. Thorough cementing of a window takes time,
but must be done properly to ensure the window has
maximum strength and weather tightness. After the
cementing material has set up, I take great care
cleaning the window and applying a beautiful finish to
the lead. All details you should expect to
receive--and you certainly do from me.
Although windows are my main focus, I am open to
other projects such as specialty boxes, lamps, or your
unique idea. As well, I do repairs and
restorations either in my home studio or on the job
site.
I look forward to hearing from you. I will give
you the service and quality you deserve.
